Come out and meet and greet your neuroscience profs! Ask them your burning questions about neuroscience, research, or life in general!
Lunch (pizza) will be provided!
— FALL ELECTIONS —
This will be followed by election speeches and an in-person voting period.
To be eligible to run in this election, you must be currently enrolled in a neuroscience major or specialist.
The following executive positions are available during this election period:
– Second Year Representative (3)
– Third Year Representative (2)
– Graphic Designer (1)
For those running for Year Rep positions, a declaration of candidacy as well as a draft of your 1-2 minute speech is to be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org by September 20th 11:59PM. We are currently not accepting applications for Graphic Designer, as we will be voting on our two previously tied candidates from our spring elections!
You are eligible to vote if you have taken at least 0.5 FCE of core neuroscience courses in the Department of Human Biology, or are currently enrolled in a neuroscience program.
If you cannot make it out to the election, there will also be an option to read the transcripts of candidate speeches on our website and vote ONLINE with your student number.
A voting link and candidates speeches will be posted on the day of the election, Thursday September 21st. The online voting period will start at 6PM and end at 11:59PM that same day.
