Are YOU an undergraduate student with a burning passion for science? Would you like the opportunity to test your knowledge outside of the classroom? On top of that, do you want a chance to win some cash, a trophy, and bragging rights? If so, register for the Canadian Undergraduate Life Sciences Challenge (CULSC)!

CULSC is a Jeopardy-style science competition that brings together undergraduate university students from all across Canada! This jam packed weekend will be filled with competition, socials, and seminars on ground-breaking topics in science.

Teams of up to four undergraduate students must register in advance for this event, however individual participants can register and be placed on a team.

The competition consists of 6 rounds of science trivia that increase in difficulty! The topics covered include:

1. Neuroscience and Psychology
2. Molecular Biology and Genetics
3. Physiology and Pathobiology
4. Anatomy
5. Immunology and Microbiology
6. Biochemistry and Pharmacology

Only undergraduate students are eligible. Teams with members that have already received or are currently completing post-graduate or medical degrees are not eligible for the competition.

We have a limit of 20 teams this year, so make sure to form your teams and register as soon as you can!

People can still register as singles, but you may be placed on a team.

Please register on our Eventbrite page! We ask that one member per team to fill the Eventbrite form and to pay all at once for each team member during registrations.

COST: $15 per member
This fee includes:
– Admission into the competition
– Food and snacks throughout the weekend (i.e. breakfast and lunch saturday/sunday)
– Snacks at the Friday night social (alcohol not included)
– An amazing opportunity to showcase your science knowledge and win a cash prize!
