As the academic year comes to a close, it is time for NAUS to hold our annual general meeting and elections!

Elections will take place from 4-6pm at SS1073. During that time, we will have election speeches and an in-person voting period. We will also vote on proposed constitutional amendments. This will be followed by our pub night social at O’Grady’s at 7pm!

To be eligible to run in this election, you must be currently enrolled in a neuroscience major or specialist.

The following executive positions are available during this election period:

Vice President, Communications (1)
Vice President, Academic (1)
Vice President, Finance(1) 
Vice President, Social Affairs (2)
Secretary (1)
Graduating Year Representative (1)
Graphic Designer (1)
Third Year Representative (1)

Here are the descriptions for each of the available positions:

A declaration of candidacy for ONE of these positions as well as a draft of your 1-2 minute speech is to be emailed to by Wednesday March 28th by 11:59PM. Please enter the position you are running for in the subject line.

You are eligible to vote if you have taken at least 0.5 FCE of core neuroscience courses in the Department of Human Biology, or are currently enrolled in a neuroscience program.

If you cannot make it out to the election, there will also be an option to read the transcripts of candidate speeches on our website and vote ONLINE with your student number.

A voting link and candidates speeches will be posted on the day of the election, Thursday March 29th. The online voting period will end on Sunday April 1st at 11:59PM.
